1. Overview

By downloading, accessing, or using Almost, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Service Description

Almost is a daily word puzzle. Players unscramble clue words, use the revealed relationships to identify a hidden answer, build a streak, and may compare eligible scores on a leaderboard.

Puzzle availability, daily rollover times, scoring rules, clue costs, and leaderboard requirements may change as the service evolves.

3. Daily Play and Scoring

• Daily The app generally provides one puzzle for each scheduled day.
• Score Your score may be affected by elapsed time, guesses, clues used, and other gameplay actions.
• Progress Local progress and streak data may be stored on your device. Some features require an internet connection or a signed-in account.

4. Coins and In-App Purchases

Coins are optional virtual items that can be used for eligible in-app actions, such as unlocking additional clues.

• Coin packs are consumable in-app purchases processed through the Apple App Store.
• The price and currency shown at checkout are determined by your App Store storefront.
• Purchased coins are linked to the account used in Almost and are not transferable between accounts.
• Coins have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or redeemed for money or property outside the app.
• Deleting your Almost account may permanently delete its remaining coin balance and associated progress.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. Refund eligibility and refund decisions are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request an eligible refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Accounts

You may play, and buy and use coins, as a guest — no account is required to make a purchase. You can optionally sign in using Apple, Google, or another supported method. Certain features, such as the leaderboard and account-based score history, require a permanent account. Signing in also adds a one-time welcome bonus and saves your coins to your account (coins bought as a guest carry over when you sign in).

• You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in provider.
• Guest progress may remain device-specific and may not transfer to another account or device.
• You may sign out or request account deletion from the Profile screen.
• Account deletion is permanent and may remove associated coins, scores, and account data.

6. Leaderboard

Eligible signed-in players may appear on the public leaderboard using a first name or a generic player label. The app may require a minimum number of completed games and recent activity before ranking an account.

We may recalculate, withhold, reset, or remove scores and leaderboard entries where we reasonably believe there has been manipulation, abuse, a technical error, or a violation of these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Almost for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Interfere with the app, its servers, purchases, authentication, scoring, or leaderboard systems.
• Use automation, modified clients, fabricated events, or other methods to manipulate scores, coins, purchases, or rankings.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or modify the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Attempt to access another person's account or disrupt another player's use of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

Almost, including its original interface, code, branding, and original content, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Puzzles may make informational or trivia references to third-party films, shows, public figures, places, foods, animals, fictional characters, names, or trademarks. Those rights remain with their respective owners. Such references do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

9. Third-Party Services

Almost may rely on third-party services for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, purchases, and app distribution. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Apps distributed through the Apple App Store are licensed, not sold. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the iOS app. These Terms supplement that agreement.

10. Availability and Disclaimer

Almost is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free puzzles, permanent retention of local data, perfect scoring accuracy, or continued availability of any particular feature.

We may update, suspend, remove, or limit features, content, rewards, coin uses, scoring rules, or leaderboard mechanics when reasonably necessary to operate or improve the service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Almost and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to account-based features if you materially violate these Terms, manipulate app systems, or create a security or legal risk. You may stop using Almost at any time and may request account deletion from the Profile screen.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the app, its business model, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections or legal rights that apply in your country of residence.
